Amen to that! I launched Opera this morning at work, and when FoxNews.com loaded I almost fainted. The homepage has 68 images, 4 banner ads, and is around 320Kb. Naturally, I fired off a rebuking email to their webmaster.

It’s also exceedingly slow even on my beefy laptop.

Fortunately for me, I don’t read foxnews.com to begin with.
