The "IE7" library goes a long way in this regard:

http://dean.edwards.name/IE7/

It's a ton of highly sophisticated javascript that forces IE to understand standards-compliant code. All you have to do is include it in your pages and then code like you would for Firefox. Very cool.

Well using a lot of css isn't a really good idea because IE doesn't undestand it at all, just displays it wrong or so. The old table way is still very stable.. - just be sure to include http://www.w3junkies.com/toocool/ ;-)

Making your page validate is a pretty big step. Using as much CSS as you can is also a good idea.

Simple, use only Firefox...
If U know the way to use Firefox, explorer.exe(not iexplore.exe) is not necessary either. Execute Firefox from registry, or from taskmgr.exe ;)

Firefox advertising!? It does not require advertising, it's the best!
