re: "Alieve / trekkie - ok (do you really think that leonard Nimoy Fans watch the superbowl?)"

umm... (timidly raising my hand) me.

re: "Who did the sound for the Rolling Stones? Jeepers." Must have been the same sucky losers who did the sound for the Stevie Wonder"Family" pregame show. I imagine they're using some Microsoft software system, certain to be inferior, certain to be needlessly expensive, exactly what the suit and tie guys want.

OTOH, this was the first Superbowl half-time show I've enjoyed for many years. Yes, the Stones will be playing in San Antonio this Spring; yes, I'm toying with the idea of getting tickets. :)

re: "Question from my daughter - how much do you get paid as a Pittsburgh Steelers cheerleader?"

About a decade ago, a neighbor of my g/f at the time was a cheerleader for the Indianapolis Colts. She was paid almost nothing, beyond expenses, for that job. Like most of the other women on the squad, she had a full-time job (she was a college student, business major) and only did the cheerleading thing as a resume builder and as an opportunity to make contacts that would lead to other modelling and related promotional jobs.
