MacPro or economy car?

Posted by joy

In case you were wondering, a fully spec’ed out Apple MacPro (hardware) with the two Cinema Displays costs $16,934.00.

At least Apple throws in the free shipping.

Update: If you can get an Apple Corporate discount, the setup only costs around $13,000.

Well, it’s only $387.00 per month with an Apple Credit Account.
Maybe cutting out the non-essentials. For example, Starbucks. Just cut about 100 grande white chocolate mochas per month, and you’re good.

um, wow. that would be one pimped out ride. I would be anxious to see how it stacks up compared to an AMD processor if there were meaningful measurement tools between comparable processors on the x86 platform.

I guess I’ll just have to stick with my mini and powerbook….
