Since Rutgers had to go to a mediocre bowl, at least they did spank the competition.
Also, this NY Times article about the pregame festivities before the Texas Bowl is pretty amusing.

Hey Joy - Congratulations on Rutgers football win! At least your team got to a bowl game. What did you think about the “beat-down” Rutgers basketball got last night by dem Tar Heels?. At least one branch of Carolina athletics is having a good year :).

They sure did spank them and they have Schiano coming back next year - they should be fun to watch..
