					<description>I don't know  but I never thought that about #2. I could see this being useful if you have email forwarded from other email addresses or control several mailboxes in something like exchange.

I could imagine someone like salesclerk@company.com trying to unsubscribe from a legit subscription, but he/she is really subscribed as joeexemployee@company.com, so it fails. Then he/she sends an email to admin@legitsource.com saying &quot;Eff you spammer!. I demand you remove salesclerk@company.com immediately from your devil lists or I will strike down upon you with great vengeance and with furious anger.&quot;

So admin searches the database and can't find salesclerk@company.com. Eventually,  maybe with more emails back &amp;#38; forth, the proper email address may be found.

That said, I don't think I receive any emails that have that footer, except maybe facebook.</description>
