A hands on Internet Marketer, Joy has been online for over 16 years and presently is the Marketing Director for Aria Systems, Inc., a Software as a Service (SaaS) Billing and Subscription Management company. Her interests include Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Online Advertising, Email Marketing, Email Deliverability, Web Design, Usability, Information Architecture, Web 2.0, Social Media and Social Networking. In her professional life, she especially enjoys devising and implementing clever Internet Marketing strategies.

In previous lives she worked as an Internet Marketer for a B2B Publisher/Information Provider, managed B2C E-Commerce, taught computer classes for adults (her favorite class was Introduction to Computers), worked as a consultant for individuals and small businesses and her very first technology position was in IT support for an academic medical nonprofit organization.

She maintains this blog because she likes figuring out why and how people visit Web sites. Also, it gives her an outlet for trying the latest and greatest - including examining new User Agents, researching Email Deliverability, admiring new software services, analyzing Google results pages, experimenting with podcasting and writing her bio in the third person.
