Inside the 5th Ave Apple store

Friday, May 19th, 2006

Sorry about the page widening non-images. I can’t apparently send images from my phone. But all is well now.

It is a mad house inside, but people are great. I’ve had a number of people come up and just start talking to me. Currently typing this on a lunchtray - 17 inch MacBook Pro.

Have a great rest of the night kids.

in line now

Friday, May 19th, 2006

well since I last blogged my accomplice and I decided to walk around rather than be in a very long line. Having taken in the sights and gotten some starbucks we resolved to take a few pics from across the street. We had a few folks come up to us and ask what is going on. At one point, a few apple employees wandered by and marveled about the fuss. CELEB WATCH: the guy from Saturday Night Live & Nickelodeon & Snakes On A Plane Kenan just walked by. JUST A FEW MORE MINUTES AND WE ARE IN.

THE ACCOMPLICE IS THREATENING TO GET A MACBOOK PRO TONIGHT. Updates pending.

mobloggin

Update and explanation: I’m testing my mobile blogging capabilities, so you’re going to see posts appear and disappear while I figure it out. So far I have seen that I can post from my phone, just don’t know how long the posts can be.

New Apple Store in Ardmore

Monday, May 8th, 2006

Maybe I can’t get Radiohead tickets, but at least I get emails about the Grand Opening of the Apple Store in Ardmore, PA.

Now there will be no less than three Apple stores within reasonable driving distance, including King of Prussia, PA and the home of Tax Free shopping, Christiana, DE.

I need spellcheck

Why is it that I can look at a word I wrote for weeks and not realize that I misspelled it?

Radiohead! In! Philly!

Friday, May 5th, 2006

Radiohead is scheduled to play Philadelphia the beginning of June. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately, the Philly venue is small and there’s no presale tickets available.

If I can’t get tickets tomorrow, only if I could convince someone to go to Bonnaroo with me…

[tags]music, Radiohead, Philadelphia, ticketmaster is evil incarnate[/tags]

Update 05/06/06: Tickets? oh hahahahaha. I was on ticketmaster.com at 10 am this morning. I reloaded and watched when the radiohead tickets went from being not on sale yet to being sold to being sold out in less than 10 minutes online.

What ticks me off is that there were tickets on ebay and stubhub.com *PRIOR* to the 10am sale today. How did these morons get tickets to scalp at ridiculous prices? I was seeing tickets anywhere from $200 to a pair of pit tickets at $1700. No, I didn’t misplace the decimal there.

new blog search engine

Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006

Sphere is a new blog search engine in the same vein of technorati or blogdigger.

The service needs quite a bit of some work, but hopefully it will give the folks at technorati a good run for their money in the future.

fantasy football, indeed

Monday, May 1st, 2006

NFL football would be much more interesting if teams signed accomplished athletes like him. I, for one, will be looking forward to football season this year. ;-)

ecommerce update 4/26/06

Wednesday, April 26th, 2006

Ebay Express. So you get to put all of your new ebay purchases into one shopping cart at a “Buy It Now” price… but you still have to pay each merchant individually…What was the point of this again?
